Samsung releases pink Galaxy S II smartphones in S. Korea

With what appears to be a move to capture more market segments, Samsung has just released its first batch of pink Samsung Galaxy S II’s in South Korea. The device in terms of hardware doesn’t change, but it’s color has been altered to somehow attract more female customers.
The timing couldn’t be more better too as Christmas is just around the corner. Unfortunately, there is no word on Samsung ever releasing the device here in the United States, but it would be a great gift to my mom for Christmas if it ever makes it on this side of the world.
