Samsung has today announced that they have released their Galaxy Note smartphone in Germany. Now, if you live in Germany, then you can find the sim-free unlocked version of the device from Amazon.

For those who don’t know, the Samsung Galaxy Note features a big-ass 5.3-inch Super AMOLED HD display with a pixel resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor and will be able to run on an HSPA+ network.

Apparently, the days of the company cloning Apple products are numbered as Apple have successfully secured patents for its iOS products. A total of 40 patents have been granted and will cover anything from the iPhone, iPad, iPod and even to the Apple Retail Store’s lay-out and design.

From a website called 1000 Memories, an article has revealed some shocking information that Facebook now holds the biggest photo library in the world. Before this, I thought it would be Flickr or Instagram, but apparently I am wrong.

According to 1000 memories, Facebook has 140 billion photos in their photo library since it first started. However, this figure is just about a portion of the total number of photos uploaded in the internet which is 3.5 trillion photos.

This figures will not get any smaller, or grow slower as more and more people are dropping their analog cameras in lieu of digital ones.
