Sony Ericsson is taking mobile gaming to a new level with its launch of the first ever dedicated gaming mobile smartphone, the Xperia PLAY. The phone was announced on the Mobile World Congress which was referred to as the Playstation phone.
The phone will come preloaded with selected playstation games that are translated for mobile playing. Powered by Android Gingerbread, users will be able to easily access the android market where they could download the latest games.

A lawsuit was filed to the court by Patrick Hendricks after he received phone bills that are unusually high. He subscribed to a $15 data plan for 200 MB but was always charged more for exceeding it. He was charged an additional $15 when he only exceeded 23MB on his limit.
Another complaint also stated that there were huge amounts of data being sent while the users are asleep. This was explained as carriers’ billing systems do not update real time so a 40 MB usage at 3 in the morning doesn’t mean that’s exactly when you used the data. Other charges were also made against third party apps sending huge amounts of data without the users’ permission.

The handset itself throws in stylish ivory coloring alongside a flattering front and back detailing to make up a pleasant visual approach to the first slider handset from Boost Mobile.

Motorola introduces a new robust handset, the Motorola Quantico. The Motorola Quantico is rugged phone that meet military specification 810F. Introducing the Motorola MT710. Motorola are in a much better position now than they was the same time last year, they have the Motorola Droid, yes it is not as good as the iPhone, but it shows that they are back with a fight. It looks like the MT710 is the Chinese version of the Droid and people say it’s going to lack keyboard support

Dell finally made its first smart phone official. With an official press release on their site Dell says that its first Android smartphone will be available in China in late November, while Brazilian customers should be able to buy it before the year’s end. Details, including specs and pricing, are scarce right now, but we do know that the Mini 3i– just the first of handsets to come.
The Chinese Mini 3 may lack 3G and WiFi, but it comes with a stylus that works on capacitive screens and a miniUSB to 3.5 mm headphone jack cable to rock out to whatever state propaganda is à la mode
Meanwhile, a chinese blogger was able to get his hands on a Mini 3i and unbox it a little before Dell’s official announcement.
The logo on the box reads “The world’s most compact Dell” which is an attempt to make you believe that the handset is a miniature computer. The 3.5 inch 360×640 capacitive touch screen is supplemented by a special stylus to help with the writing. It is also said to have handwriting recognition and multi-touch features.It is also bundled a 3.5mm adapter for the mini-USB port in case their handsfree isn’t good enough for your audiophilic ears.
