US Cellular, which is probably one of the most popular regional network providers in the country, has announced a new smartphone to their line-up. The network has recently announced the Huawei Ascend II to be added to their range of smartphones by next week.
With regards to specs, the Huawei Ascend features a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen and a 600MHz processor. Camera comes in the form of a 5 megapixel one while it’s operating system will be the Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

LogMeIn, the experts on remote computer access, have unveiled today a new app for the iOS device. Through the app, users can access their files on their PC or Mac directly from their iOS device.
Users can open, delete, browse and edit their files over WiFi or 3G using the LogMeIn app although, they did not make it clear of it’s difference to the LogMeIn Ignition app that they are selling for $29.99 in the App Store.
Anyway, the app is free to download but if you want to stream HD videos from your PC to your iPhone or iPad, then you have to buy the Pro version for $39.99

Here’s another reason to buy the Kindle Fire as one developer has created an emulator for the eReader that would let it run Nintendo 64 games. Apparently, the Kindle Fire with it’s dual-core processor can easily handle Nintendo 64 games without lags.
Unfortunately, this is no official app which means there is no guarantee that the emulator won’t brick your Kindle Fire in the long run but sources say games like Mario Kart and Legend of Zelda are playable now using the hack.
